Positive SimRacing is proud to announce the agreement with the Australian driver Jackson Wendt for the rest of the 2012 season. Jackson joins the Team during the start up phase with the objective of participate in the World Trophy G1 races.
Jackson Wendt is a young talented driver, who showed impressive performance at online Xbox competitions. Now, he will have the opportunity of showing his skills during the 4 remaining races of the season, trying to ensure a seat for the 2013 champiosnhip.
Jackson stated "I am very happy to join Positive Simracing. I have been waiting for an opportunity like this for a long time. The team has been very kind and supportive of me from the moment I said that I was interested in a position at the Team. FSR looks like the perfect place for a driver and team to build relationships. This relationship between me and the team is off to a great start."
Positive SimRacing Team Owner, Javier Alvarez, stated that "The long term strategy of the Team demands an adequate mixture of efforts from experienced and consolidated drivers and from young talented young drivers. Although FSR will be a great challenge for Jackson, in Positive SimRacing he will have the opportunity of consolidating himself as a top driver during the next few months."
In only one week, the Team has completed the minimum requirements to participate in FSR World Trophy Championship, although being in track in Suzuka will be a challenge, as the car is still not ready and licenses are not fully approved. In any case, Jackson starts the Suzuka race today!
